Project-based Learning

Learning by Doing

Project-based learning (PBL) is an instructional approach designed to give students opportunities to develop knowledge and skills through engaging projects set around challenges and problems they may face in the real world. PBL will help students think more deeply about content, while learning essential critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.  These skills mirror those used by professionals everyday.

The goal of UMS is to prepare students for success in life by preparing them for a life in a project-based world.
